So today we had planned to take a family drive and do something fun for memorial day, but instead I'm cuddled on the bed with Shawn, in a cold medicine induced haze watching a Law and Order SVU marathon on Netflix and sucking on ice cubes to help my throat feel better. It would have been a lot more fun to be out on a family drive, but I suppose this works too. I'm glad to have Shawn around to cuddle with. He just went downstairs to make me popcorn. No one makes it better than he does. :)
Tomorrow our social worker is coming over to do a homestudy update. I'll explain why tomorrow when I'm a little more lucid.
