A kids life

So I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but Josh is quite the little film maker. For the past year or two Josh has been obsessed with making movies. He says he wants to be a movie producer when he grows up. He makes all sorts of really funny little movies for us. Sometimes he and Matthew act in them, sometimes they're all computer animated and sometimes he uses Legos and other things around the house as props. He's amazingly creative, it's always fun to see what he comes up with, and he does a great job putting them together in Windows Movie Maker.

He made this one yesterday and it make me laugh so I thought I'd share it. It's super short, he calls it "A Kids Life". It might make more sense if you had him standing over your shoulder narrating it like he always does for me, but there's not a whole lot of story line, so I think you'll be fine, lol.

Enjoy. :)

We've actually had that dollhouse for years! When Josh was about two he had a weird obsession with doors for some reason. He loved houses and doors. Every time we would go to a friends house with girls he wanted to sit and play with their dollhouses. Not for the dolls, just for the house and the doors. He would sit for hours and open dollhouse doors, put things inside and close the doors, or he would drive his Matchbox cars around the house and through the doors.

So for Christmas that year we bought our son a dollhouse, lol. He grew out of his door obsession years ago and the dollhouse mostly sits in the back of the closet until girls come over and I get it out for them. But recently Josh rediscovered it because it makes such a good prop for his movies.

I honestly don't even remember the name of it anymore and I don't know if they still make them. All I remember was that we bought it at Shopko and my husband insisted on that one because it wasn't pink, lol.
