Small update

I'm trying to keep my blog updated with all paperwork related news, even if it's small, so here's my little update.

Once our I600 was approved, it was sent over to the National Visa Center, who has to process it through their system and then send the info on to Korea. There's a number you can call to check on the status of that, so I called today and they told me that they logged it into their system on August 20th and that it's due to be sent out to Korea any time now!

That's fantastic news, but it's a little odd, because our I600 approval letter was dated August 27th, so I don't know how the NVC logged it in on the 20th unless we actally got I600 approval earlier than we thought and they just waited a week to send us the letter.

Anyway, the bottom line is that our paperwork is cruising along really smoothly. I've been terrified of this whole paperwork process and I keep expecting to run into problems at each step, but so far we've been incredibly lucky. Let's hope that luck continues!

WOW that is awesome! That was the last thing we had to wait on because it was delayed so that already getting pushed through is amazing news!
