Success!

Josh got his cast off about a half hour ago! He has been so worried about getting the pins out, but it ended up not being too horrible. He said it hurt, but the doctor did it really fast, so it was over quickly.

He has to go back for a follow up in six weeks and then again in six months to make sure he has full range of motion back and in the meantime he has to do some physical therapy on it, but overall the appointment went well and the doctor said it was healing well.

Josh's arm is still sore and he's probably going to want to take it easy for a few days, but he's thrilled to finally be rid of the cast!

In other news, I called the Visa status line today and there's been no change. I'll start calling again on Monday!

So glad that Josh did ok.

How long have you been waiting on the Visa? Once they do it they issue that she is ok to travel? This is the last step before you pick her up?

Our P3 went out on September 2nd. It's normal for it to take about 2-4 weeks for the P3 to come back and the Visa interview to be scheduled, so that could be happening any time now.

Once the Visa interview happens, all they have to do is issue a travel certificate, which normally takes a couple of days, and then we can go get her!

So we're reaching the end of the process! As long as there isn't a delay with the P3 we should be traveling around the first part of October!

Wow, that is so exciting!!! I bet you can almost feel her in your arms!!! What is the process once you and Shawn go to Korea?

My 10 yr. Anniversary is on the 2nd. it has always been a good day for us, here's hoping that it is the day you get on a plane and hold Clarissa in your arms.
