A question!

I was super excited that someone left me a question on my last post! I'm excited to answer it!

Do you think you will ever go back to Korea - when Clarissa is older?

I am absolutely dying to go back to Korea! We talk about it all the time. I really want to Clarissa to experience her amazing birth country and I would love to visit all the wonderful people there who were part of our adoption story. I still keep in touch with Jin-Ha and her foster parents and I would love to see them in person again. I want to eat at that little restaurant in Insadong that we loved so much, I want my kids to see the palaces and I want to stand on that beautiful beach in Busan again. I want to do it all again! I love Korea. I love the people, I love the culture, I love all if it. The week we spent there was incredible from beginning to end.

The adoption agency offers homeland tours, so when Clarissa is old enough I would love to do that. And when she turns 18 they will open her file if she chooses and will help her reunite with her birth mother. That is entirely Clarissa's choice if she chooses to pursue that, but I'm behind her 100% if that's what she wants to do. I hope that someday I can give her birth mother a hug and tell her thank you for allowing me to raise such an amazing girl. I think going back to Korea will be an emotional journey for all of us, but it's something I'm really looking forward to doing someday.

Thank you for the question! Keep them coming! :).
